Grace Vertigans - Sports Intern (Prep)



Grace was born in Colchester, England but have lived in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. She attended Boarding School at Plymouth College and swam for Plymouth Leander where she became a Multi-Time National Youth Champion, European junior silver medalist, world junior silver medalist and World School Games multi-gold medalist. Afterwards, Grace swam for the Indiana University Women’s Swimming and Diving team where she became Big Ten Medalist, Academic all-Big Ten Honoree and NCAA All American. After her swimming career ended, Grace interned with the Leadership and Life Skills Department for IU Athletics where she assisted in design of Excellence Academy Programs for IU Student-Athletes as well as monitored, tracked and assessed Student-Athlete development. Now interning with the Millfield swim squad Grace is excited to start her journey as a coach. She looks forward to learning from the best in the industry as well as implementing some philosophies and practices that she learnt from the States.

Grace went to Indiana University and graduated with an Exercise Science degree with high distinction as well as becoming a member of the School of Public Health Dean’s list for her academic achievements
